For nearly 75 years, Wenke Greenhouses has been growing quality plants and serving the garden industry as a third-generation, family-owned greenhouse business. Based in Kalamazoo, Michigan, we operate four locations in Michigan and one in Douglas, Georgia, with more than 56 acres of covered greenhouse production and 6 acres of field production.
Wenke Greenhouses is one of the nation’s largest wholesale growers of bedding plants, providing high-quality annuals, perennials, and other plants to independent garden centers, landscapers, re-wholesalers, and family-owned garden businesses throughout the country. Our year-round greenhouse production allows us to offer a broad selection of quality plants while maintaining the consistency and service our customers depend on.
Our experience as a grower extends beyond wholesale production. We also operate a retail garden center in Kalamazoo, Michigan, giving us valuable firsthand experience with home gardeners and the changing needs of today’s garden center customers. This retail experience helps us develop innovative plant programs, products, and merchandising solutions that benefit independent garden centers and the customers they serve.
