Wenke Greenhouses is proud to support our local community in a variety of ways.
Tours:
We enjoy having school groups, garden clubs and more visit our production greenhouses. The tours last about 1 hour and can be customized to the group. No charge. To arrange a tour, please contact us at 269-349-7882 or email joyce@wenkegreenhouses.com.
Good Neighbor Days:
On specified days, Wenke Greenhouses donates extra product from our wholesale production facility to local, non-profit organizations. Click here for more information.
Other Types of Donations:
For many groups, the Good Neighbor Days provide the plants they need. For other types of donations, please submit a written request a min of 2 weeks in advance to laura@wenkegreenhouses.com or mail to 5071 Market Street, Kalamazoo, MI 49048.
If you would like to be considered for some other type of donation, please send an email with the following information:
- Date of event
- Name of the organization requesting the donation
- Purpose of the organization or specific event
- Contact name, address, phone, fax and/or email
- Details of what is being asked for (specific product, gift certificate, money)
